Nokia released a new phone in TaiWan yesterday.
Nokia 5530 XpressMusic is a music and multimedia device that comes with a full touchscreen and a new Homescreen and Contacts Bar as part of the interface. Other features include a 3.2-Megapixel camera with LED flash, Bluetooth and 802.11g Wi-Fi are fitted as standard. The built-in stereo speakers come with surround sound, so we’re expecting something on a par, in music terms. Also, its standby time up to 14 days.
According to the hands-on, the 5530 is small but usable, and the premium materials give it an air of class. On the front there is just the touchscreen and three semi-touch sensitive buttons (as answer, end and menu), while the right side features zoom and capture controls for the camera, plus a slider to lock the controls. The left side has slots for SIM and microSD cards, and there’s a full-size 3.5mm headphone jack and micro USB port on the bottom.
