LG has announced the LG GD510 Pop on 30 September, 2009, while they announced it on 12 October, 2009 again. The GD510 Pop is a eco-friendly phone. LG taked materials used, the production process and the product disposal into consideration.
LG touch phone‘s thickness is just 11.2mm.The LG GD510 Pop’s design is wonderful and simple, it has just one button with different functions: Call or End key, Menu or Cancel key. There is a slim strip of light around the button shines either green or red to indicate the phone’s function.
The LG GD510 Pop features a 3 inch touchscreen , WQVGA resolution (240 x 400 pixels),8GB internal memory ,a camera with 3 megapixel, MP3 player and a web browser.
The LG GD510 Pop is a eco-friendly product, its package is made from recycled paper with soy ink printing. The battery charger cuts off power supply when the phone is fully charged, while the phone reminds the user to unplug the charger. The most significant feature of the phone is its solar-powered battery which utilizes the power of the sun to charge the phone. 2 minutes talk-time or 180 minutes of standby time just need the phone to be exposed in sun 10 minutes.
