
There are many people using the Nokia N97 as it has all feathures you need though it was a little big for you to use. While Espoo, Finland-based mobile phone maker Nokia has announced its Nokia N97 Mini ( a smaller one of the high performance Nokia N97) will hit the shelves as soon as this week. More,the phone’s functionality is as same as or higher than that of its bigger brother, though in a smaller form factor.
As the Nokia N97 Mini is smaller than Nokia N97. It does have 3.2-inch touchscreen display with the same 640 x 360 pixels resolution, the directional pad is replaced by a smaller touchscreen . The smartphone is coupled with a QWERTY keyboard and with a fully personalised homescreen.
The Nokia N97 Mini also features 8 GB internal memory (32 GB of the Nokia N97), a microSD memory card slot ( extended up to 16 GB cards), a camera of 5 megapixel , Carl Zeiss Tessar lens, auto-focus and flash. The N97 Mini is also improving performance and battery life.
Navigating the device is a pleasure with kinetic ‘flip’ scrolling available right across the OS. The Nokia N97 Mini supports for Nokia Email, Ovi Contacts, Ovi Maps, and the Ovi Store. It enables other 3rd party software to be easily downloaded and installed.
“In September, 2009, we exceeded 2 million Nokia N97 devices sold, and now introduce the Nokia N97 mini, underscoring the success of the design. We have also listened to consumer feedback about the performance of the device. The Nokia N97 software update 2.0 is a way for us to optimize the device and add new features and functions,” said Jose-Luis Martinez, vice president, Nokia Nseries. “We are also excited about the early feedback that we have received on the Nokia N97 mini, which carries a very similar feature set to the original Nokia N97 and comes in a pocket-friendly size for those out and about.”
The N97 Mini is supposed to available for £430 in stores in various markets in Europe. The Nokia N97 mini is RAOUL Limited Edition with just 1000 units. If you like it you should hurry up to get an order.
