    It is possible that the old screen is out of work after using for several years, it is expensive to buy a new laptop. What is the good method for this problem? There is no doubt that replace the old screen with a new is the best choice.  This guide tells you how to replace the laptop screen.

    First step, turn the laptop off, unplug its power source, and remove the battery.

    When you want to replace your laptop screen, you have to remember the steps what you have done, and note which screws and accessory go where, if you are not confident about yourself, write down the steps and mark every screw.

    There are many screws holding the laptop screen, the number of the screws is different according to the specific laptop. And there are rubbers covering on the screws, so you have to find the screws which are covered by the rubber. Remove the rubber covers surrounding the laptop screen. If the rubber is difficult to be removed, you have to prepare a sharp tool in this step.

    Having removed the rubber covers, the hidden screws are exposed. Now remove the screws.

    As you have removed all the screws, you can remove the screen bezel now. Using your fingertips, carefully insert into the inside edge of the display bezel. Unsnap the screen bezel from the corner to the both sides of the screen slowly.

    When you have removed the bezel, now you can see the display, inverter and other screws.

    Generally, the display is held on the screen panel in place by brackets, so what you have to do is unscrew the screws holding the brackets. These screws are easy to be removed. Keep all the screws in a safe place. Having removing the screws, the brackets are removed too.

    Unscrewing the screws fixed the LCD screen; there are only video cable and inverter on the display, which are located on the bottom of the display stickered by the tape. Remove the video cable with your hands carefully. If it is difficult for you to remove the video cable with your hands, you can do it with a screwdriver. Be careful, or you will do harm to the video cable.

    The following step is that unplug the inverter. The inverter plug simply pulls out from the inverter board. The inverter is connected to the inverter board which sends highly amounts of voltage to support the backlight, so this is why we have to remove the battery first.

    As you have removed the old display completely from the laptop, now you install a new screen to your laptop, follow these steps in reverse to properly install the new display. Well, you had better connect the inverter after you have connected the video cable and held the screen with screws.

    After you have replaced the new screen, test the screen with booting up the laptop.
