
America’s third largest mobile operator Sprint Nextel launched the first WiMax wireless network mobile phone- HTC Evo 4G. Sprint’s first WiMax/4G phone is everything we hoped it would be, HTC Evo 4G comes with the same hardware of HTC HD2, the Sense-on-Android smoothness of the Legend, and unbelievable download speeds.

Sprint says that HTC Evo 4G cell phone features a 4.3-inch screen (480×800 TFT LCD), and 1GHz Snapdragon processor. The screen of HTC Evo 4G phone is 30% larger than that of the iPhone, we are easier to browse web and watch movies. The new HTC Evo 4G mobile phone comes with two cameras, the camera on the back of HTC Evo 4G is 8MP; while the front-facing camera is 1.3MP, and is capable for HD video recording.

Sprint said that HTC Evo 4G will be available in this summer, the price and corresponding services will also be known.

Sprint said it will begin selling the phone this summer, and be announced closer to market prices and the corresponding services. The company’s mobile phone chief of operations, David Owens, said HTC Evo 4G is a high-end smart phone.

HTC Evo 4G supports Sprint’s CDMA network, and Clearwire’s high-speed WiMax network.
