Sony Ericsson announced another Android Smartphone – Xperia X8 after three android phones : Xperia X10，Xperia X10 mini and Xperia X10 mini Pro. Sony Ericsson Xperia X8 is powered by 600MHz high dominant frequency processor, which fully ensures the running speed. Although the hardware configuration is lower than Sony Ericsson Xperia X10, Sony Ericsson Xperia still appears to be fairly good. Sony Ericsson Xperia X8 also pre-install Android 1.6 OS, but it will update to Android 2.1 version in Q3 2010.
Sony Ericsson Xperia X8 has the regular functions, including 3.5G, WiFi, Bluetooth and built-in data control Widget, backup etc. Not to mention over 50 thousand applicants available in Android Market and unlimited music in PlayNow.
Sony Ericsson Xperia X8 comes equipped with HVGA 320×240 3-inch touch screen with a 320 MP camera, but the camera doesn’t support auto-focus function, and Xperia X8 doesn’t have flashing light as well. While in appearance design, Son Ericsson Xperia X8 appears more stylish, offering five different color version like blue, pink and sliver.
Sony Ericsson Xperia X8 looks similar with Xperia X10 in appearance and UI. Sony Ericsson Xperia X8 inherits the easy one hand use with the four-corners keys and one touch access to applications. The size of Xperia X8 is between Xperia X10 and Xperia X10 mini, and 3-inch screenof Xperia X8 is smaller than Xperia X10 4–inch screen, larger than Xperia X10 mini 2.5-inch, indicating that Xperia X8 orientation is located at the middle-end mainstream market.
Sony Ericsson Xperia X8 will be available under 200 EURO retail price in Q3 of 2010.

One hand control UI in Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 and Xperia X10 mini has been well received by users, so Sony Ericsson Xperia X8 also inherits this feature, such as one Widget in one page, four-coners shortcut keys, menu icon position in larger degree of freedom and Timescape simplified version.
