Puma mobile phone with solar panel and sport functions, spotted at MWC2010 Barcelona this February, is coming to the Europe, Africa and Mid-East. The biggest highlight of Puma mobile phone is its eco-friendly solar panel in the rear. Different from other mobile phones only rely on battery, Puma phone innovatively utilizes the solar power to meet its energy needs. It would save 10 to 15 minutes of communication within an hour of light exposure.
Puma Mobile Phone–Sport Functions
Targeted to sports lovers, Puma phone comes with GPS, compass, speedometer, sports tracker, and pedometer. With 115 grams weight and the dimensions of 102 × 56×13 mm, Puma claims the Puma mobile phone is rugged enough to be fastened while hiking or climbing a cliff.
Besides, with 2.8-inch QVGA touch screen (240 × 320 pixels) and built-in 320 megapixel camera, 3.5mm headset jack, Puma mobile phone supports WCDMA/HSPA network and MicroSD card to expand the built-in memory.
It is reported that the estimated price of SIM-free version of Puma phone is 400 (about $540) Euros, but the price will vary according to different countries and sales modes.
