Acer Stream smartphone is due to launch on August 9, at the price of £399, including VAT ($615), according to the latest news from Acer in July. Acer Stream mobile phone features 3.7” WVGA AMOLED touchscreen and 5MP camera. The advanced AMOLED technology offers more natural colours, perfecting the effect of playing HD movies.

Based on 1GHz Snapdragon processor instead of 768MHZ chip used in Acer Liquid, Acer Stream supports HSDPA 7.2 Mbps connectivity, 720p HD Recording, Bluetooth 3.0 and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n wireless network and GPS navigation.
Acer Stream smartphone comes with 512MB RAM和512MB ROM and built-in 8GB memory card can expand to 32 GB. To our surprise, Acer Stream is very slim with 11.2 mm thick.
In addition, Acer said Acer Stream with Android 2.1 will upgrade to Android 2.2 later.
