Samsung Galaxy Tab P1000, a high-end Android tablet spotted at IFA in Berlin last week, rushed into the competition of tablets Warfield, in the wake of Apple iPad, Dell Streak, and RIM Blackpad and so on. Run by Android 2.2 OS (Froyo), Cortex A8 1 GHz processor, and Samsung’s TouchWiz interface, Samsung Tablet offers 7” WSVGA touch screen (1024 x 600, a great size for watching videos), a 1.3MP front-facing for video chatting and a 3MP rear camera, supporting flash 10.1 for media playback, 802.11n WiFi, Bluetooth.
In addition, Samsung Tab will have access to the Android Marketplace and Samsung app store. Furthermore, Samsung executives said that Samsung will probably launch more tablets next year with different sizes to cater for different users.

Samsung Galaxy Tab is sturdy but light, owing to the all-plastic material reducing Samsung tablet’s weight to 380g (0.84 pounds), which is lighter than iPad (1.5 pounds) but still heavier than any phones.
