The Sony Ericsson Xperia X2 made its official debut on Wednesday.
As the successor to the Xperia X1, the X2 will run Windows Mobile 6.5, bringing new features such as Flash support in Internet Explorer Mobile and Microsoft’s app store, and the Windows Marketplace for Mobile. Palm will launch commercial application store App Catalog in mid-September, then developers can sale the Palm Pre application software in the store.
Palm said that the developers will receive 70% of the share, the remaining 30% of revenue would go to Palm. All of the developers can also choose to provide the software for free. At present, Palm has released about 35 Pre procedures. Continue reading »

China Unicom had made a large purchase of 5 million iPhone 3GS units, but today the carrier is denying the reports, calling the rumors “definitely not true.”
China Unicom’s spokesman Yi Difei added that “talks between us and Apple have been going on for some time”, but no deal has been made as of yet, as some hurdles have not been cleared.Apple spokeswoman in beijing Tiffany Yang also added that there was still no official word on the iPhone’s launch in China.
