Aluminum unibody design of HTC Legend</p>
<p>When we want to jump into any detail of<strong> HTC Legend</strong>, we have to mention the body design of HTC Legend phone. The reason why people said HTC Legend was similar to HTC Hero is that both phones have a tilt design, while the angle of HTC Legend is smaller than that of HTC Hero.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-2080" title="HTC Legend review-2" src="http://blog.etech.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/HTC-Legend-review-2-300x199.jpg" alt="HTC Legend review-2" width="300" height="199" /><br />
Viewing from the side, we can see clearly the angle of HTC Legend.</p>
<p>In addition, the most significant feature of HTC Legend is its aluminum unibody design. The unibody design boasts a game-changing breakthrough when it hit the laptop market.</p>
<p>There is no gap between the phone cover as to the unibody design, so the phone HTC Legend is more durable. The unibody design of HTC Legend is similar to the design of MacBook Pro. It is worth mentioning that the metal will influence signal, so there is a plastic casing on the back of the HTC Legend to ensure the signal is not affected.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-2081" title="HTC Legend review-3" src="http://blog.etech.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/HTC-Legend-review-3-300x199.jpg" alt="HTC Legend review-3" width="300" height="199" /><br />
HTC Legend’s aluminum unibody design</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-2082" title="HTC Legend review-4" src="http://blog.etech.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/HTC-Legend-review-4-300x199.jpg" alt="HTC Legend review-4" width="300" height="199" /></p>
<p>These are the covers of different cutting state. We can know that it is difficult to finish a shell with many steps.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-2083" title="HTC Legend review-5" src="http://blog.etech.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/HTC-Legend-review-5-300x199.jpg" alt="HTC Legend review-5" width="300" height="199" /></p>
<p>The back shell of <strong>HTC Legend <a href="http://www.etech.com/cell-phones--c1144">phone </a></strong></p>
<p>As HTC Legend features an aluminum unibody design, so if we want to take the <a href="http://www.etech.com/cell-phones-batteries--c1144_1148"><strong>battery </strong></a>or SIM card out, we have to remove the back shell of the HTC Legend, open the protective cover, and then take out them. There are two metal connectors, which will increase the signals of HTC Legend phone.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-2084" title="HTC Legend review-6" src="http://blog.etech.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/HTC-Legend-review-6-300x199.jpg" alt="HTC Legend review-6" width="300" height="199" /><br />
Under the <a href="http://www.etech.com/cell-phones-battery-covers--c1144_1149"><strong>battery cover</strong></a>, there is still a protective cover.<br />
<img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-2085" title="HTC Legend review-7" src="http://blog.etech.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/HTC-Legend-review-7-300x199.jpg" alt="HTC Legend review-7" width="300" height="199" /><br />
Open the protective cover, then we can take the battery out.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-2086" title="HTC Legend review-8" src="http://blog.etech.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/HTC-Legend-review-8-300x199.jpg" alt="HTC Legend review-8" width="300" height="199" /></p>
<p>We can see the SIM slot and micro SD memory card slot after removing the HTC Legend’s battery. HTC Legend will supports up to 32GB of memory card.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-2087" title="HTC Legend review-9" src="http://blog.etech.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/HTC-Legend-review-9-300x199.jpg" alt="HTC Legend review-9" width="300" height="199" /></p>
<p>HTC Legend features a 5 million pixel camera with LED flash, and it also supports auto focus and geotagging.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-2088" title="HTC Legend review-10" src="http://blog.etech.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/HTC-Legend-review-10-300x199.jpg" alt="HTC Legend review-10" width="300" height="199" /></p>
<p>HTC Legend comes with a same screen with HTC Hero; they both come with a capacitive AMOLED touchscreen of HVGA resolution. However, the TFT display technology has been switched in favor of AMOLED for HTC Legend. We can expect a better picture quality.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-2089" title="HTC Legend review-11" src="http://blog.etech.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/HTC-Legend-review-11-300x199.jpg" alt="HTC Legend review-11" width="300" height="199" /></p>
<p>The optical controller blow the HTC Legend’s screen is as same as that of Desire.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-2090" title="HTC Legend review-12" src="http://blog.etech.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/HTC-Legend-review-12-300x153.jpg" alt="HTC Legend review-12" width="300" height="153" /></p>
<p>The camera interface of HTC Legend is also the same as the Desire, which can quickly get access to configuration options</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-2091" title="HTC Legend review-13" src="http://blog.etech.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/HTC-Legend-review-13-300x199.jpg" alt="HTC Legend review-13" width="300" height="199" /></p>
<p>At the bottom of HTC Legend, there is a micro USB port.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-2092" title="HTC Legend review-14" src="http://blog.etech.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/HTC-Legend-review-14-300x161.jpg" alt="HTC Legend review-14" width="300" height="161" /></p>
<p>There is a volume control key on the left of HTC Legend.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-2093" title="HTC Legend review-15" src="http://blog.etech.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/HTC-Legend-review-15-300x162.jpg" alt="HTC Legend review-15" width="300" height="162" /></p>
<p>There is nothing on the right side of HTC Legend.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-2094" title="HTC Legend review-16" src="http://blog.etech.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/HTC-Legend-review-16-300x154.jpg" alt="HTC Legend review-16" width="300" height="154" /></p>
<p>On the top of the HTC Legend, there is a 3.5mm headset jack and a power button.</p>
<p>HTC Legend is equipped with Android 2.1 version operating system, and also equipped with the new version of HTC Sense interface with the functions of widget, Friend Stream. HTC Legend also supports text search and the multi-touch function.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-2095" title="HTC Legend review-17" src="http://blog.etech.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/HTC-Legend-review-17-300x199.jpg" alt="HTC Legend review-17" width="300" height="199" /><br />
HTC Sense UI revolves around Scenes, which are essentially six custom homescreen setups (Work, Travel, Social, etc). Each scene changes the wallpaper and the widgets on the homescreen &#8211; for instance, the Work scene has a stocks widget, while the Social offers a Twitter widget.</p>
<p>The widget section has been revamped since the HTC Hero and now both types of widgets (HTC and Android) are placed in one page. There are so many of them that you may find the seven homescreens not enough.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-2096" title="HTC Legend review-18" src="http://blog.etech.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/HTC-Legend-review-18-188x300.jpg" alt="HTC Legend review-18" width="188" height="300" /><br />
HTC Legend comes with HTC Sense interface</p>
<p>In contrast, the workmanship of HTC Legend is exquisite than its predecessors HTC Hero especially its aluminum unibody design and simple design. the available price of the HTC Legend will not too high according to its configurations but not lower than the price of the HTC Hero.</p>
